Meacham Lake State Campground is located along NY 30 on the northern and western shores of 1203 acre Meacham Lake. The campground is located in a very scenic area that is surrounded by mountains and Debar Mountain Wild Forest. There are 223 campsites available for campers. The GPS coordinates of the entrance to the campground is N44 35.147 W74 17.502. As you enter the campground you'll pass scenic Clear Pond.

There are many hiking adventures close by in the Debar Mountain Wild Forest and Saranac Lakes Wild Forest. Paul Smith's VIC is a very popular destination as well in this area. Our recommended hikes in this area include Debar Mountain, Azure Mountain, Loon Lake Mountain, and Ampersand Mountain. How about doing a family hike and picnic on the shores of Middle Saranac Lake after hiking to Ampersand Mountain. Look below for a few pictures from the campground and a campground map. You can find more information on this state campground, including reservations from the NY DEC website.
