This hike features a loop hike, something that you usually don't find in the Adirondacks.  Some will say it's even better since it's a hike along a trail that has no markers.  Don't let that deter your adventurous spirit as the trail is well worn and easy to follow, however I would recommend a gps devise (just in case) for some.  There are many views to enjoy along this 5.6 mile moderate loop hike with a 1500 foot elevation gain/loss.

From the Crow Clearing parking area at the end of O'Toole Road take "The Crows Trail" for 0.5 mile.  The unmarked Nun-da-ga-o Ridge Trail begins on your right a short distance up the shoulder of Big Crow Mountain.  You can take the short hike to the Summit of Big Crow (elevation 2812 feet) if you wish.  Follow the unmarked Nun-da-ga-o Ridge Trail and almost immediately you'll have your first views.

The views will continue as you work your way up and down rock outcroppings and progress eastward along the ridge.  At 3.5 miles you will reach the summit of Weston Mountain (elevation 3186 feet).  From here you'll descend a half-mile to Lost Pond, and a nice view of Hurricane Mountain and its fire tower across the pond.  At 4.5 miles reach the junction of the Hurricane Mountain Trail.  Follow the Hurricane Mountain Trail the last 1.1 miles back to the parking area and the end of this 5.6 mile loop hike.
