There is a series of cascades along Otter Creek that are known as the Shingle Mill Falls located in the Independence River Wild Forest. It is a short 0.4 mile hike from Partridgeville Road to the falls or you can drive just under 0.4 miles miles along a narrow dirt road to a parking area that is only a few hundred feet from this scenic waterfall in the West-Central Adirondacks.

The GPS coordinates of the small parking area that is at the end of the narrow dirt road is N43.160 W75 15.892. The dirt road is located about 2.6 miles on the left along Patridgeville Road as you drive away from Brantingham. The day we visited the waterfall in late September 2016, the water levels were extremely lower than normal.
