This 3.2 mile loop hike within Kennedy State Forest utilizes the Dabes Diversion Trail, Kuzia Cutoff Trail and the Finger Lakes Trail / North Country Trail to create a pleasant loop hike.  This is just one of many loop hikes possible in this forest.  There is a stream crossing west of Bleck Road.  We have a map and detailed description of this hike below.

Directions:  From Virgil, NY --> NY 392 East, then a right on Van Donsel Road.  Turn right on Bleck Road.  At the four corners and junction with Hauck Hill Rd, park on the right along the road.  You will see the trailhead markings. The GPS coordinates are N42 29.310 W76 10.632 for those who have a GPS devise in their vehicle.

Kuzia Cut Off Trail at the Finger Lakes Trail / North Country Trail

0.0	1835 feet	From the four corners parking area, head east down seasonal dirt Hauck Hill Rd.  Follow the orange blazes.
0.45	1807 feet	Kuzia Cutoff Trail on right.  Turn right and follow blue blazes.  Descend.
1.2	1611 feet	Reach juntion with Finger Lakes/North Country Trail.  Turn right and follow white blazes.
1.3	1567 feet	Cross Bleck Road.  Descend and soon cross stream and begin to ascend.
1.6	1741 feet	Rock pile view.  Junction of Dabes Diversion Trail on right.  Fox Fire Lean-To just ahead along FLT/NCT. A great spot to take a break! Turn right and follow orange blazes.  Continue to ascend.
2.3	1960 feet	Highest point along this hike.  Begin to descend.
3.0	1779 feet	Cross stream.
3.2	1835 feet	Reach Bleck Road and the end of this loop hike.
