This branch section of the old Delaware & Eastern, later known as the Delaware & Northern Railroad was locally known as the Andes Branch. This once was a nine mile branch of the railroad that ran from 1907 until 1925. Today the original depot is still there and almost one mile of the old railroad bed is utilized as the Andes Rail Trail. You can also explore the 1.1 mile Bullet Hole Spur Trail.
