The 46 foot Split Rock Falls is located on the Bouquet River just off US 9 in the Hammond Pond Wild Forest of the Adirondacks. This waterfall has three separate drops with the upper two separated from the third drop by a large pool. There is a paved parking area off US 9 that is unmarked and many travelers drive right by because they have no idea this scenic waterfall is so close to the road.

The GPS coordinates for the parking area is N44 7.436 W73 39.497 for those who have a GPS devise. If you don't have a GPS devise, we suggest checking out a Garmin nüvi 52LM 5-Inch Portable Vehicle GPS with Lifetime Maps (US) to help plan your hiking adventures. After parking head toward the fence and then turn left. At the end of the fence you can find your way toward a nice viewpoint in between trees on a ledge. Look below for a picture and map of Split Rock Falls.
