The Trout Pond Trail at Letchworth State Park, also known as Trail 3, features scenic Trout Pond. The trail is a favorite of hikers that like loop hikes. For those looking for a longer loop hike can utilize the Hemlock Trail. The trail uses an old carraige road and passes by a grove of red pines that were planted in the 1930s. The trail is mostly level.

To find the Trout Pond Trail parking area from the main park road, head south from Inspiration Point parking area and the park Visitor Center. Turn right on a side road that will pass a maintanence area and Trout Pond. Go to the end of the road and park. The GPS coordinates are N42 35.657 W78 02.521 for those who have a GPS devise.
