The 15,140 acre Fulton Chain Wild Forest is located in the Town of Webb, Herkimer County. This wild forest is located near Old Forge, NY and includes the very popular hike to the summit of 2350 foot Bald Mountain/Rondaxe Fire Tower (see panorama above).

Other popular destinations include Bubb Lake, Sis Lake, Moss Lake, Safford Pond, Goose Pond, West Pond, Snake Pond, Billy's Bald Spot and the Vista Trail.  Due to the vicinity to the Old Forge area plus the easy access, this wild forest receives many visitors looking for outdoor adventure.
