Hiking in Madison County New York State Lands Earlville State Forest
|

The 635 acre Earlville State Forest is located in the town of Lebanon, a few miles west of the village of Earlville. The state forest sits at an elevation of nearly 1600 feet, which allows for panoramic views of the country side from the entrance to the state forest off Morgan Road (see picture above).
There are two ponds located in the forest (we were unable to locate), however no formal hiking trails are located in Earlville State Forest. A forest access road travels through the forest allowing for auto touring of the forest. There are a couple of possible camping sites located along the forest road.
Directions
From Lebanon Road turn onto Morgan Road and up the hill to the State forest.
