Hiking in Madison County South Trail

This easy 3.3 mile trail located south of Cazenovia, NY is located on the old rail bed of the defunct Lehigh Valley Railroad. This trail was developed and is maintained by the Cazenovia Preservation Foundation.
The mission of the Cazenovia Preservation Foundation is to preserve Cazenovia's historic character and important lands and waters for the benefit of the community. To this end, CPF owns over 400 acres of property in the Cazenovia area, holds conservation easements on another 700 acres and has facade easements for several local historic structures.
Mile Elevation South Trail Description (North to South) 0.0 1271 feet Trail currently begins at Ballina Road.
0.3 1255 feet Cross Chittenango Creek.
0.55 1299 feet Cross Thompson Road.
1.2 1352 feet High point along trail.
1.75 1312 feet Delphi Station
