Trail #19 at Letchworth is known as the Gibsonville Trail because it winds in the area where the small hamlet of Gibsonville once stood. The trailhead is along the main park road just north of the Silver Lake Outlet bridge. This trail features an old CCC camp, Lower Kisil Falls, Silver Lake Outlet gorge and the 45 foot Gibsonville Falls. The trail is located on both sides of the road, although the best part of the trail is on the east side of the road.

There is some parking on the east side of the road along the shoulder just north of the Silver Lake Outlet bridge. The GPS coordinates of the parking area is N42 42.105 W77 56.274 for those who have a GPS devise. There is more parking on the south side of the bridge as well.

The trail on the west side of the road travels about 0.25 miles before it becomes more of a herd path. You'll see other side trails that are used by hunters during hunting season. The trail on the east side of the road starts past the gate and "Trail 18" sign, following an old woods road. As you begin to walk down the road there is a junction. The main Gibsonville Trail veers left as a side trail on the right goes a short distance to allow hikers a view of Lower Kisil Falls from across Silver Lake Outlet.

Back on the main Gibsonville Trail, a side trail on the right (0.2 miles from gate) goes to the bank of Silver Lake Outlet across from a seasonal fall and loops around through the site of an old CCC camp from the 1940s, which includes the remains of an old well as well as the fireplace remains of the Officer's Quarters. After 0.15 miles the side trail comes back to the main Gibsonville Trail. Turn right and cross a small stream on an old bridge to continue on Trail 19.

In 500 feet reach a trail junction. The trail going left is "Trail 19A" known as the Chipmunk Trail which leads to the Highbanks Trail (Trail 20). The main Gibsonville Trail goes right here. In about 1000 feet is a side herd path that leads a short distance to the 45 foot Gibsonville Falls. The view is from above and is slippery, so care should be taken along the edges. The Gibsonville Falls are also known as the Papermill Falls and even the Silver Lake Outlet Falls. The herd path winds back to the Gibsonville Trail. Turn right and continue on the trail or left to return back to your vehicle.

Trail 19 continues another 0.2 miles with a few nice views of the Silver Lake Outlet gorge. The trail putters out near a pile of crushed stone, however a herd path continues down into the gorge as some people walk upstream to get another perspective of Gibsonville Falls. Be prepared to walk in the creek through a steep gorge if you decide to do this. This is area of the park does not get to much traffic. Look below for a few pictures, a trail map and a video featuring the Gibsonville Trail aka Trail 19 at Letchworth State Park.
