Hiking in Onondaga County Onondaga County Parks Long Branch
|
Long Branch Park, located at the northern end of Onondaga Lake Park off Long Branch Road, is made up of three reserved shelters/areas - Riverview, Glen and Knoll - and a sledding hill. Major annual events held here include the Great American Antique fest, Scottish Games, Shakespeare in the Park and more. It's a great place to wonder and explore when there are no events happening.
Although this county park does not boast any hiking trails, you can utilize the park roads to create a short but pleasant 1.2 mile figure eight loop within the park. See below for pictures and of a map of the the figure eight loop.
For a map (pdf) of Long Branch Park. See the Onondaga Lake Park website.
