Kingsbury Hill

This 2.9 mile section of the Finger Lakes Trail - North Country Trail is entirely on private property. It is due to the generosity of these landowners that the trail is allowed to pass through this area. Please respect their property and stay on the trail. This section of the trail is located northeast of Franklinville, NY between NY 98 and Kingsbury Hill Road.

There is no parking off NY 98 and the FLTC requests that no one park on the driveway that the trail goes up, as well as the fields that border the road. There is parking off NY 16 by Upper Bear Creek Road or some shoulder parking along Kingsbury Hill Road. There is no camping opportunities along this section of the trail. The next camping opportunity is in Bush Hill State Forest.

0.1	1644 ft	Trail veers left into woods.
0.25	1690 ft	Trail turns right.
0.4	1764 ft	Trail begins to veer left.
0.6	1863 ft	Trail descends.
0.8	1760 ft	Trail begins gradual climb.
1.25	1883 ft	Trail turns right.
1.7	1998 ft	Trail turns left.
1.8	2021 ft	Kingsbury Hill and highest point along this section of the trail.
2.9	1930 ft	Reach Kingsbury Hill Road and the end of this section. Parking. The trail turns left and follows road for 0.1 mile before turning right off road along field. For a continuation see Bush Hill State Forest.
