Baker Mountain, located in Saranac Lake, NY is a short 0.9 mile, gradual climb to one of the best views in the Adirondacks from its 2,452 foot summit.  This trail offers outstanding views of the Saranac Lakes, the High Peaks and McKenzie Mountain Range.

Trail length: 1.8 miles round trip (900 foot ascent)
Difficulty: Moderate
Trailhead: From downtown Saranac Lake, go up to Main Street to its intersection with Dugway; turn right onto and at the end of Dugway, then take the first left (Forest Hill Ave); proceed straight to Moody Pond, where trailhead is marked by a sign on the left.
